2022A crushing plant established for the cement sector successfully achieved an aggregate production capacity of 1,000 tons/hour. As part of the project, the CK160 Jaw Crusher was produced for the first time and its high performance was validated on site.
2021A TÜBİTAK 1501 project titled “Development of a New-Generation Jaw Crusher with High Crushing Capacity and a Remotely Adjustable Discharge Opening” was initiated. The scientific article produced within this project received the 2nd place award for Best Industry Article in 2023.

2017The BURÇELİK R&D Center has been accredited by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The precision machining capacity for defense industry requirements has been enhanced through the installation and commissioning of a 5-axis horizontal milling machine supported by BEBKA.
2016Padder-type crawler construction machines used in the installation of onshore pipeline systems were designed for the first time in Turkey, and four units were manufactured.
2015Mobile crawler cone crusher has been designed and its production has commenced.
2014Fine sand machine and a scrap screen have been designed, and their production has commenced.
2013State-supported mobile crawler crushing and screening units for urban transformation projects have been designed and manufactured.
2012A single-piece casting of 46 tons was successfully completed. A patent for an automatically controlled jaw crusher was obtained, and the machine was designed and manufactured with state support.
2008The design and production of the BURÇELİK-brand mobile crawler crusher were initiated, making Burçelik the first—and to this day the only—company in Turkey to design a mobile crusher. Starting from 2008, Burçelik developed its own mobile crusher design and commenced production.
2006A 12-ton capacity induction melting furnace was commissioned, resulting in an increase in production capacity.
2005The production capacity of the Machinery Factory was increased by 35%.
2002The production of mobile crawler crushers began with the complete manufacturing of Hartl’s rotor and jaw-type mobile crushers starting in 2002, followed by the complete production of Power Crusher brand jaw-type mobile crushers from 2003 onward. In 2010, production of ATLAS COPCO brand jaw-type mobile crushers was also initiated.
1992Burçelik shares began trading on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
1990The export of crushers to Europe began with the start of the design and manufacturing of the crusher and feeder units for the Swiss-based company GIPO’s crawler-mounted systems.
1983The establishment of BURÇELİK Makine was completed. With its strong engineering infrastructure and extensive machine park, the company began producing crushing and screening equipment, becoming one of Turkey’s leading manufacturers of jaw crushers, cone crushers, impact crushers, vertical shaft crushers, vibrating screens, and feeders. Models such as CK140, CP150, and CT1111 were among the first machines designed entirely by Burçelik and manufactured in Turkey.
1968The establishment of BURÇELİK A.Ş. was completed. BURÇELİK Foundry began its production activities with a 500 kg melting capacity and, over the years, increased this capacity to 30 tons, becoming one of Turkey’s leading steel foundries. Burçelik Foundry manufactures a wide range of materials, including carbon steels, low-alloy steels, stainless steels, high-manganese steels, heat-resistant steels, and tool steels. It is also a strong foundry specialized in the production of gray cast iron, ductile (spheroidal) iron, and white cast iron.
